Insight Global, an international staffing company, today announced the appointment of DeWayne Griffin as Chief Digital & Information Officer. Mr. Griffin will report to Chief Executive Officer, Bert Bean. In this role, Mr. Griffin will oversee Insight Global’s more than 300-person Information Technology (IT) organization and manage teams responsible for digital strategy and growth, application development and delivery, quality assurance, project management, cyber security and risk, and technical infrastructure.
His appointment is effective June 26, 2023.
In his myriad leadership roles over 22 years at State Farm Insurance, one of the country’s most trusted Fortune 50 companies, Mr. Griffin took the company to new heights through innovation in business strategy, democratizing analytics, talent strategy and alignment, complex project-lifecycle oversight, and research.

Mr. Griffin’s appointment follows the retirement announcement of Dave Hudson, who served as Insight Global’s Chief Technology Officer twice (2011 to 2013, then again beginning in 2019). Mr. Hudson laid the foundation for connecting the company’s mission to its information resources and technology practices. His influence and oversight impacted the business’s IT strategies and the company’s culture.
Following Mr. Hudson’s retirement announcement, Bert Bean appointed DeWayne Griffin to serve as the company’s new CDIO. Mr. Griffin’s experience with Insight Global first started in April 2021 when he became a member of the company’s board of directors.

“My predecessor laid the key foundations of IT capabilities over the past few years, which led to the implementation of many great advancements,” he said. “This next growth cycle for Insight Global will not only increase the demand for our IT capabilities but require us to scale to meet the needs of our clients, consultants, sales associates, and employees.”
In addition to corporate excellence, DeWayne is dedicated to his family, community, and social responsibility at-large. He sits on the Advisory Council for Women in Technology and was previously a Board Member for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, a TechBridge Executive Ambassador, and has served on a local church board for the benefit of congregational and community service efforts. DeWayne is married to LaToya, and they have 3 children.
